NGEL Recruitment 2026

NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has invited online applications from experienced professionals for recruitment to 114 Assistant Engineer and Deputy General Manager (Renewable Energy) posts.

The recruitment drive aims to strengthen NGEL's renewable energy operations in solar, wind, and green hydrogen projects across India. Selected candidates may be posted at NGEL Corporate Office, Project Sites, Stations, Joint Ventures, Clusters, or Subsidiaries anywhere in the country.

Interested and eligible candidates can submit their online applications between 11 July 2026 and 31 July 2026.

Educational Qualification

Assistant Engineer - RE

Candidates should possess:

• Full-time Diploma in Engineering in:
  • Electrical
  • Mechanical
  • Electronics
  • Electrical & Electronics
  • Instrumentation

The diploma must be from an AICTE/UGC-recognized institution.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in the Power Sector.
• At least 6 years in 50 MW or above Solar/Wind Projects in Operation & Maintenance or Asset Management.

Deputy General Manager - RE

Candidates should possess:

• Full-time B.E./B.Tech in:
  • Electrical
  • Electrical & Electronics
  • Electronics
  • Control & Instrumentation
  • Civil
  • Mechanical

Minimum 60% marks (Pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates).

Experience

• Minimum 12 years of executive experience in the Power Sector.
• At least 10 years in Renewable Energy projects.
• Minimum 2 years experience in construction, erection or commissioning of 50 MW+ Solar/Wind Projects.

Age Limit

Age Relaxation

• SC/ST - 5 Years
• OBC (NCL) - 3 Years
• PwBD - 10 Years
• Ex-Servicemen - As per Government rules

Salary

NGEL offers attractive pay scales along with Dearness Allowance (DA), HRA, medical facilities, performance benefits, retirement benefits, and other allowances.
