JKSSB Warder Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess:

• Minimum Qualification: Matriculation (10th Pass) from a recognized board.
• Maximum Qualification Allowed: 10+2 (Higher Secondary).

Candidates possessing qualifications higher than 10+2 are not eligible as per the notification.

Domicile Requirement

Applicants must possess a valid Jammu & Kashmir Domicile Certificate issued by the competent authority on or before the closing date.

JKSSB Warder Age Limit 2026

Age will be calculated as on 01 January 2026.

Ex-Servicemen

Age relaxation is applicable according to Government rules.

JKSSB Warder Salary 2026

Selected candidates will receive salary under Pay Level-2.

Besides basic pay, employees are entitled to DA, HRA, Medical benefits, Leave benefits, Pension/NPS (as applicable), and other allowances.

JKSSB Warder Selection Process

The recruitment process consists of four stages:

1. Written Examination
2. Physical Standard Test (PST)
3. Physical Endurance Test (PET)
4. Document Verification

JKSSB Warder Exam Pattern 2026

Physical Standard Test (PST)

Male

• Height: 5 feet 6 inches
• Chest: 32"-33.5"

Female

• Height: 5 feet 2 inches
• Must be medically fit.

Physical Endurance Test (PET)

Male

• 1600 Meter Race in 6 Minutes 30 Seconds
• 20 Push-ups

Female

• 1000 Meter Race in 6 Minutes 30 Seconds
• Shot Put (4 Kg): 14.5 Feet (3 Attempts)
