The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi is India's premier autonomous medical institution established under the AIIMS Act, 1956. The Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) is conducted to recruit qualified Nursing Officers for AIIMS and other participating institutes through a transparent computer-based examination process.

AIIMS NORCET 11 Recruitment 2026

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has officially released the AIIMS NORCET 11 Recruitment 2026 Notification for 2,218 tentative Nursing Officer vacancies. The recruitment will be conducted through the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET)-11 for AIIMS New Delhi and 27 participating AIIMS institutes and Central Government hospitals.

Candidates possessing B.Sc Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, or GNM qualifications along with the required Nursing Council registration can submit their online applications from 24 July 2026. The last date to complete the online application is 13 August 2026 (5:00 PM).

Selected candidates will be appointed as Group-B Nursing Officers under Pay Level-7 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix with attractive Central Government allowances.

Candidates must satisfy either of the following eligibility conditions.

Route-I

• B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing
• OR B.Sc Nursing
• OR Post Basic B.Sc Nursing
• Registration as Nurse & Midwife with State/Indian Nursing Council

• Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM)
• Registration with State/Indian Nursing Council
• Minimum 2 years experience in a 50-bedded hospital after obtaining registration
