Who Can Apply

Applicants must also possess at least 1 year of post-essential-academic-qualification experience in Trade Finance processing and operations in an Officer/Official role in a scheduled commercial bank. Experience in a Maker role is preferred.

Trade Finance Officer - IBG, MMGS-II Qualification

Candidates must possess a Graduation Degree in any discipline from a Government-recognised University or Institution along with a Certification in Forex Operations from IIBF, dated on or before 31 July 2026.

Applicants must have at least 3 years of post-essential-academic-qualification experience in Trade Finance processing in an Officer/Official role in a scheduled commercial bank.

Preferred Trade Finance Certifications

SBI Trade Finance Officer Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

The official SBI notification specifies two principal stages for selection:

  • Stage 1 - Shortlisting: Candidates will first be shortlisted based on parameters decided by SBI. Simply satisfying the minimum eligibility conditions does not automatically entitle an applicant to an interview call.
  • Stage 2 - Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will appear for an interview carrying 100 marks. SBI will decide the qualifying marks.
