• If the University has an established CGPA / grade conversion formula, that procedure will be followed.
• If no conversion procedure exists, the Grade / CGPA will be multiplied by 10.
• For semester-wise marks, where no aggregate method is prescribed, the average of semester-wise percentages will be taken.
• For year-wise marks, where no aggregate method is prescribed, the average of year-wise percentages will be taken.

Candidates may be required to furnish a certificate from the concerned University / Institution regarding the equivalent aggregate percentage of marks.

NLC Apprentice Reservation Rules 2026

Reservation is available for:

• SC
• ST
• OBC
• EWS
• PwBD

Reservation is provided according to the Apprentices Act and applicable provisions.

OBC Non-Creamy Layer candidates must submit a valid OBC-NCL certificate in the prescribed Government format, valid from 1 April 2026.
