KSP Civil Police Constable Eligibility Criteria 2026

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess:

• PUC (Pre-University Course) or equivalent qualification.
• Class 12 qualification from recognized boards including CBSE, ICSE, State Boards, or equivalent recognized institutions.
• Candidates awaiting results are not eligible.

Kannada Language Requirement

Candidates who studied Kannada as First Language or Second Language at SSLC/PUC level are exempted from the Kannada Language Examination.

Candidates who do not possess Kannada qualification must qualify the Kannada Language Test by securing at least 50 marks out of 150 marks.

Subject-Wise Weightage and Preparation Focus

The written examination consists of 100 objective questions covering General Knowledge, Current Affairs, History, Geography, Constitution, and Mental Ability. Since the paper duration is only 90 minutes, speed and accuracy become equally important.

Training and Probation
