DSSSB Sweeper & Chowkidar Preparation Focus

The written examination is balanced evenly across four subjects—English, Hindi, General Knowledge/Current Affairs and Arithmetic—with each contributing 25 marks. Candidates should therefore avoid neglecting either language section while preparing heavily for GK or arithmetic.

Because 0.25 mark is deducted for every wrong answer, mock-test practice should focus on both speed and accuracy. For the General Knowledge and Current Affairs section, candidates can supplement preparation with daily current affairs, Static GK and a daily current affairs quiz.

For Arithmetic, candidates should prioritise basic Matriculation-level numerical ability and frequent timed practice. English and Hindi preparation should focus on fundamental language competence appropriate to the level of the post.
