If two or more candidates obtain the same position in the merit list, the tie will be resolved in the following order:

  1. Candidate with fewer negative marks will be placed higher.
  2. If the tie continues, the older candidate based on date of birth will be placed higher.
  3. If still tied, the candidate who acquired the essential qualification earlier will be placed higher.
  4. If the tie remains unresolved, alphabetical order of candidates' first names will be used.
