BPSC TRE 4.0 Preparation Focus

The introduction of 1/3 negative marking means candidates need to balance speed with accuracy. The five-option system also makes examination instructions especially important because simply leaving a question blank may not be treated the same as intentionally selecting the designated non-attempt option.

The Preliminary Examination includes current affairs, Bihar history, Indian history, geography, polity, economy, science and mental ability. Candidates can strengthen these sections with daily current affairs, revise factual areas through Static GK and improve recall through the daily current affairs quiz.

For the Main Examination, subject teachers should devote most of their revision time to the concerned subject while ensuring that the qualifying language portion is not neglected.
