Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) has released the official notification for engagement of Apprentice Trainees for a period of one year under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961. The recruitment has been announced through Advertisement No. 7(1)/I/STPI-HQ/2026-27 dated 14 September 2026.

A total of 15 vacancies are available across STPI Headquarters and nine other STPI centres in India. STPI Apprentice Trainee Vacancy 2026

STPI has announced a total of 15 apprenticeship vacancies distributed across 10 locations. The official notification provides the following centre-wise distribution.

Important: The notification gives a centre-wise total of 15 vacancies but does not separately allocate a specific number of vacancies between the B.E./B.Tech group and the Arts/Commerce/Administration Bachelor's degree group. Selection will depend upon vacancies available in the respective disciplines.

STPI Apprentice Educational Qualification 2026

Only candidates who completed their qualifying Degree/Diploma in June 2021 or later will be considered for engagement as Apprentice Trainee.

STPI Apprentice Trainee Age Limit 2026

The prescribed age limit is calculated as on 14 September 2026.

Reservation will be applicable according to Government of India rules.

STPI Apprentice Trainee Stipend 2026

Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend according to their educational qualification.

The Screening-cum-Selection Committee may offer a higher stipend of up to Rs 20,000 per month depending on the candidate's performance in the interview.

The stipend will be facilitated through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mechanism. The admissible Government share of the stipend will be credited directly to the apprentice's bank account through the NATS Portal after successful registration on NATS for DBT.

1. Visit the official NATS Portal at nats.education.gov.in.
2. Click the Student section in the top menu.

6. Create a login ID and password and enter Aadhaar and other identification information as required.

11. A unique Student Enrolment ID will be generated and sent to the registered email ID.
