A total of 227 tentative vacancies have been notified across 10 participating services/cadres.

SSC SSA/UDC LDCE Eligibility Criteria

This examination is exclusively meant for eligible serving employees of participating cadres.

Essential Eligibility

Candidates must:

• Be serving as JSA/LDC or equivalent eligible cadre employee.
• Fulfil service requirements prescribed by the concerned Cadre Controlling Authority.
• Satisfy the crucial date conditions applicable to their respective department.
• Submit the application through proper channel.

Educational Qualification

Certain departments require Bachelor's Degree qualifications while others require prescribed service experience in the feeder grade. Candidates should refer to cadre-specific eligibility conditions before applying.

Age Limit

Maximum Age 45 Years.

• Age Relaxation Applicable as per Government Rules.

Upper Age Relaxation

For example, Railway Board Secretariat Clerical Service candidates should not be more than 50 years as on the prescribed crucial date, while Directorate General Defence Estates candidates should not exceed 45 years. Age conditions are cadre-specific.

In addition to basic pay, employees will receive:

The selection process includes:

Stage 1: Paper-I Computer Based Examination

Candidates will appear for the objective examination consisting of General Awareness and English Language.

Stage 2: Paper-II Descriptive Examination

Shortlisted candidates will be evaluated on Noting, Drafting and Office Procedure.

Stage 3: APAR Evaluation

Annual Performance Assessment Reports (APARs) will be evaluated.

Stage 4: Final Merit List

Final merit will be prepared based on aggregate marks obtained in:

• Paper-I
• Paper-II
• APAR Evaluation
