Documents Required for POWERGRID Apprentice Application 2026
- NAPS/NATS apprenticeship registration or enrolment number with completed profile.
- Educational qualification certificate.
- Final or consolidated marksheet.
- Percentage Conversion Certificate, if percentage is not printed in the final marksheet.
- Specialization certificate/letter where the required specialization is not clearly mentioned on the qualification certificate.

POWERGRID Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Merit Strategy
Because there is no written examination, candidates cannot improve their position through a separate recruitment test. The marks obtained in the qualifying ITI, Diploma or Engineering programme become the key merit factor.
Applicants should therefore focus on submitting an error-free application supported by complete documents. Before applying, verify the final percentage calculation, result date, specialization, NAPS/NATS enrolment status, category certificate and DBT-enabled bank details.
The 1:5 document-verification ratio means being shortlisted does not itself guarantee final engagement. Candidates must successfully establish every eligibility claim during document verification.
