NHSRCL Technician Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility conditions:

Educational Qualification

Applicants should possess any one of the following:

• Matriculation/SSLC with ITI in the relevant trade from NCVT/SCVT recognized institutions.
• Matriculation/SSLC with Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the relevant trade.
• Three-year Diploma in the relevant Engineering discipline from a recognized University/Institute.

The required qualification varies depending on the specific Technician trade.

Experience

Candidates must have:

• Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in the Operations & Maintenance departments of:
  • Indian Railways
  • Government-owned Railways
  • Metro Railways
  • RRTS Systems

Applicants must submit a competency or experience certificate issued by their employer. Candidates possessing only B.E./B.Tech without the prescribed ITI/Diploma qualification are not eligible for Technician posts.

NHSRCL Technician Age Limit 2026

Age will be reckoned as per the notification. Age relaxation, if applicable, will be provided according to Government rules.

NHSRCL Technician Application Fee

Transaction charges, if applicable, will be borne by the candidate.

NHSRCL Technician Selection Process

The selection process consists of:

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT)
2. Document Verification
3. Medical Examination

The management reserves the right to modify or dispense with any selection methodology if required.

NHSRCL Technician Salary 2026

Selected candidates will receive:

Apart from the basic pay, employees will also receive HRA, Medical Benefits, Perks, and other allowances as per NHSRCL rules.

Probation Period

Selected candidates will undergo a probation period of one year from the date of joining.

Service Bond

Candidates selected for Technician posts will be required to execute:

• Surety Bond Amount: ₹3,00,000
• Minimum Service Period: 4 years

If an employee resigns before completing the bond period, they will be liable to pay the bond amount along with applicable training costs and taxes as specified in the notification.

Medical Standards

Selected candidates must satisfy the prescribed Indian Railway Medical Standards.

The required medical category for Technician posts is:

• B-1 Medical Standard

Medical fitness will be assessed before final appointment.

Place of Posting

Selected candidates may be posted anywhere in NHSRCL/MAHSR Project locations across India according to organizational requirements.
