Mining

• Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering.

Geology

• Post Graduate Degree in Geology / Applied Geology.

Environment Management

• Bachelor's Degree in Environment Engineering/Technology; OR
• Engineering Degree with PG Degree/Diploma in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management or Environment Science; OR
• Post Graduate Degree in Environment Science; OR
• Doctorate in Environment Studies.

Safety & Fire Services

• Engineering Degree with PG Degree/Diploma in Safety Engineering Management; OR
• B.Tech in Safety/Fire Engineering.

Electrical

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Instrumentation

• Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation/Electronics & Communication related disciplines.

Mechanical

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mining Machinery.

Civil

HCL Selection Process 2026

The recruitment process consists of:

Stage 1: Shortlisting

If applications exceed the prescribed limit, candidates will be shortlisted based on:

• Relevant experience beyond minimum requirement.
• Additional higher qualifications.
• Company turnover criteria (in case of tie).

Stage 2: Personal Interview

The Personal Interview carries 100% weightage and will determine final selection.

HCL Service Bond

Selected candidates will be required to:

• Execute a Service Agreement Bond of ₹3,00,000.
• Serve HCL for a minimum period of 3 years.

Important Instructions

• Only Indian Nationals aged 18 years and above are eligible.
• Experience in internship, apprenticeship, fellowship, teaching, consultancy or training will not be counted.
• Private-sector applicants must belong to organizations having turnover of ₹250 Crore or more.
• OBC-NCL certificate should be issued on or after 01 April 2026.
• EWS certificate should be valid for FY 2026-27.
