Hindustan Copper Limited has announced a total of 43 vacancies across Industrial Safety, Geology, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Medical & Health Services, Environment Management, Mineral Processing, Finance, Human Resources and Survey.

Note: For Survey, the official notification shows three FTE-I vacancies but mentions only UR-1 in the category breakup. Candidates should refer to any subsequent HCL corrigendum or clarification for the remaining category distribution.

Experience Rules

• Experience is counted from the date of publication of the result of the prescribed basic/essential qualification.
• Relevant experience generally means work in the advertised discipline in Mining, Metal or Manufacturing industry. Experience in another industry may be considered subject to appropriate experience certification and HCL's assessment during document verification.
• Training, consultancy experience, teaching, fellowship, internship, apprenticeship and academic projects are not counted as eligible experience.

The selection process is based on performance in the Personal Interview (PI), carrying 100% weightage.

• Candidates are normally called for Personal Interview in a ratio of 1:5 against each advertised vacancy.
• For a post with only one vacancy, up to 10 candidates may be shortlisted for interview.
• HCL reserves the right to conduct a written screening test to shortlist candidates for the Personal Interview if required.
• For every completed year of relevant experience beyond the minimum prescribed requirement, one mark is awarded during shortlisting. Proportionate marks are provided for incomplete periods.
• An additional degree above the minimum essential qualification in the relevant discipline/cadre may carry one mark, subject to a maximum of two marks.
• Appointment is subject to document verification and medical fitness.
