HAL Nasik Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for ITI Trade Apprentices

  • Candidates must have passed ITI in the respective trade from an NCVT/SCVT-recognised institute.
  • Trades at Serial Nos. 1 to 13 require a 2-year regular ITI qualification.
  • Trades at Serial Nos. 14 to 17 require a 1-year regular ITI qualification.
  • Only Indian nationals are eligible.
  • Candidates already registered/undergoing apprenticeship in another establishment or those who have completed apprenticeship are not eligible as specified in the notification.
  • NAPS registration is required and candidates should normally obtain the system-generated Registration Number before submitting the HAL form.
  • The NAPS profile should be 100% complete, including mandatory e-KYC and Beneficiary ID.

The ITI notification provides a specific relaxation in the registration procedure for passed-out candidates who do not yet have their final-year result copy for NAPS online registration: they may submit the application form without the Registration Number, but the final result copy must be available during document verification.

Eligibility for Engineering Graduate Apprentices

  • 4-year B.E./B.Tech degree in the relevant engineering discipline from a recognised university.
  • For Pharmacist vacancies, the notification specifies a 4-year B.Pharm degree in the respective branch/qualification framework.
  • The qualifying Degree/Diploma must have been passed in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026.
  • A passing certificate must be available on the date of application.
  • Candidates whose result is awaited or who are still appearing are not eligible.

Eligibility for Diploma Apprentices

  • 3-year Diploma in the respective branch approved by the State Board of Technical Education and AICTE.
  • For Medical Lab Technician (DMLT), a Government-approved Diploma in the relevant field of at least 1 year duration is required.
  • The Diploma should have been passed in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026.
  • Candidates pursuing regular Engineering after completing Diploma are not eligible to apply for Diploma apprenticeship on the basis of that Diploma.

Eligibility for Non-Technical Graduate Apprentices

  • BA, B.Com, B.Sc or BBA degree from a recognised university, as applicable to the notified discipline.
  • For B.Sc vacancies, only Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Statistics disciplines are covered.
  • The qualifying degree should have been passed in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026.
  • Appearing/result-awaited candidates are not eligible.

NATS Registration Requirement

Engineering Graduate, Diploma and Non-Technical Graduate applicants must register on the NATS 2.0 portal and obtain their Student ID/Enrollment ID. Mandatory e-KYC and APAAR ID requirements on the portal should also be completed. Candidates who completed Engineering Graduation after Diploma should register or upgrade their NATS profile as an Engineering Graduate.

For Engineering Graduate, Diploma and Non-Technical Graduate apprentices, 50% of the stipend is paid by HAL and the remaining 50% by BOAT through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), as per applicable rules. The bank account registered on NATS must therefore be Aadhaar-seeded.

For ITI apprentices, the stipend is payable as per applicable rules in an Aadhaar-seeded SBI savings bank account.

For ITI Candidates

  1. Visit the NAPS portal at apprenticeshipindia.gov.in.
  2. Register using SSC/10th and ITI qualification details.
  3. Complete the NAPS profile, mandatory e-KYC and Beneficiary ID requirements.
  4. Obtain the system-generated Registration Number, normally beginning with A0XXXXX.
  5. Open the HAL ITI application form through the official link.
  6. Enter all details exactly as supported by your certificates and NAPS profile.
  7. Submit the application form only after carefully checking every entry.
  8. After successful submission, confirm that the message "Thank You! Your Form is Submitted Successfully!" appears.

For Engineering Graduate, Diploma and Non-Technical Graduate Candidates

  1. Visit nats.education.gov.in and register on NATS 2.0.
  2. Register the applicable Diploma, Engineering Graduate or Non-Technical Graduate qualification.
  3. Complete mandatory e-KYC and APAAR ID requirements.
