ECoR GDCE Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Employees working in a lower grade/pay scale than the Direct Recruitment grade/pay scale may apply for notified categories for which they possess the required qualification. ECoR GDCE Recruitment 2026 Age Limit

ECoR GDCE Negative Marking

There is 1/3 mark negative marking for every incorrect answer in the CBT. There is no negative marking in the Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT).

Minimum Qualifying Marks

The qualifying requirement may be relaxed by 2 marks for PwBD candidates in case of a shortage of PwBD candidates against reserved vacancies.

Candidates are generally shortlisted for CBAT or Typing Skill Test up to eight times the number of vacancies. Candidates equal to the number of available vacancies are called for Document Verification according to merit and applicable selection rules.

For Assistant Loco Pilot, the supplied recruitment details state that final merit gives 50% weightage each to CBT and CBAT. For Station Master, the stated weightage is 70% CBT and 30% CBAT.
