Delhi High Court SPA & PA Recruitment 2026 Preparation Focus

This recruitment is skill-heavy rather than purely theory-based. Candidates should therefore begin daily shorthand and computer-typing practice well before the examination. SPA candidates need to consistently achieve at least 110 w.p.m. shorthand, while PA candidates need at least 100 w.p.m.; both require a minimum 40 w.p.m. English typing speed.

For the Main Descriptive Examination, focus on concise 250-word essay writing, formal letters, English grammar, comprehension and translation between Hindi and English. Since Stage-II, Stage-III and the Interview all contribute to final merit, shorthand accuracy should receive as much attention as descriptive-paper preparation.

For broader exam preparation, candidates can follow daily current affairs, revise important facts using Static GK, and test recall regularly through the daily current affairs quiz.

  • Only online applications will be accepted.
