| Particular | Details |
|---|---|
| Exam Mode | Computer Based Test (CBT) |
| Question Type | Multiple Choice / Objective |
| Total Questions | 100 |
| Raw Exam Marks | 100 |
| Merit Weightage | 75 Marks |
| Duration | 2 Hours |
| Language | Hindi and English |
| Correct Answer | +1 mark |
| Wrong Answer | -0.25 mark |
| Normalization | Applicable where the examination is conducted in multiple shifts |
The questions will be based on the B.V.Sc. & A.H. level syllabus prescribed by the concerned department. The detailed syllabus will be published separately on the BTSC website.
How BTSC Veterinary Officer CBT Marks Are Calculated
The candidate's raw written-examination performance is converted to a maximum of 75 marks for final merit preparation. The notification explains the calculation using the candidate's percentage in the written examination.
Example of CBT Weightage Calculation
If a candidate obtains 60% marks in the written examination, the weighted CBT score will be:
60 × 0.75 = 45 marks
Eligible contractual work-experience marks are then added to this weighted examination score to determine the final merit score out of 100.
