BEML Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

BEML Apprentice Educational Qualification 2026

Candidates holding qualifications acquired through part-time, correspondence, distance education or online mode are not eligible under the conditions stated in the BEML notification.

The result declaration date of the final qualifying examination should be clearly mentioned in the final/consolidated mark sheet. Where the mark sheet does not show the result date, candidates are required to produce supporting proof from the concerned college or university.

The required area of specialisation should also be reflected in the qualification certificate. Where the specialisation is not mentioned, an appropriate certificate or letter from the institution/university may be required.

BEML Apprentice Qualification Passing-Year Rule

BEML specifies that candidates should have passed their prescribed qualifying examination within three years from the closing date of application. Applicants whose qualifying result falls outside the prescribed period are not eligible under the recruitment conditions.

Candidates should rely on the date of declaration of their final examination result rather than merely the academic session or semester completion date.

BEML Apprentice Age Limit 2026

1. Application Screening: Applications are screened according to eligibility, qualification, trade and training location.
2. Shortlisting: A category-wise merit list is prepared for the respective trade at each location, generally in a ratio of 1:5 against available training slots.
3. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates are called for verification of original documents/certificates in merit order.
4. Final Merit: Eligible candidates found suitable during verification are arranged according to the percentage of marks obtained in the final qualifying examination.
5. Offer of Engagement: Offers are issued in merit order subject to availability of training slots.
6. Reserved Waiting Panel: Remaining eligible candidates may be placed on a waiting panel maintained up to five times the training-slot strength.
7. Final Engagement: Engagement is subject to acceptance of the tri-partite apprenticeship contract on NATS/NAPS and submission of the prescribed medical and police verification certificates.

Candidates must maintain an active Aadhaar-seeded bank account enabled for Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) in accordance with Government of India requirements.
