Punjab State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Punjab has released the PSTET Notification 2026 for the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test. The test is conducted for candidates aspiring to become teachers for Classes 1-5 (Paper 1) and Classes 6-8 (Paper 2) in Punjab government and aided schools.

- Senior Secondary (10+2) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year D.El.Ed or equivalent

For Paper 2 (Class 6-8):
- Graduation with 2-year D.El.Ed
