National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has released two recruitment notifications — Vacancy Notice No. 32/2026 and Vacancy Notice No. 33/2026 — for recruitment of Supervisor-I and Junior Maintainer personnel in Operations & Maintenance, Information Technology, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Civil, Corporate Hospitality, Corporate Communications and other disciplines.

A combined 90 vacancies have been announced. Vacancy Notice 32/2026 contains 67 direct recruitment posts, while Vacancy Notice 33/2026 contains 23 contract-basis posts carrying regular NCRTC pay scales. National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) Overview

National Capital Region Transport Corporation Limited is a Joint Venture of the Government of India and the participating State Governments of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh under the administrative control of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.

NCRTC is implementing the Namo Bharat Project in the National Capital Region. The first phase envisages the Delhi-Meerut, Delhi-SNB-Alwar and Delhi-Panipat-Karnal corridors. The Delhi-Meerut Namo Bharat corridor has been opened for commercial revenue operations.

The two notifications differ mainly in the nature of employment. Notice 32/2026 is for regular direct recruitment of Operations & Maintenance staff, whereas Notice 33/2026 recruits Supervisors and Non-Supervisors on a five-year contract basis while providing the notified regular pay scales.

NCRTC Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification - Notice 33/2026

For C07 and C08, a full-time B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engineering) qualification in the relevant discipline is also permitted. For C09 and C10, the prescribed ITI qualification is mandatory and cannot be substituted merely by possessing a higher qualification.

Educational Qualification - Notice 32/2026

For D02 to D05, a full-time B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engineering) degree in the relevant discipline is also permitted. For D06 to D09, possession of the prescribed ITI qualification is mandatory.

NCRTC Recruitment 2026 Age Limit

The maximum age for every post under Vacancy Notice Nos. 32/2026 and 33/2026 is 28 years. Age and all other eligibility conditions are calculated as on 10 September 2026. Only Indian Nationals above 18 years of age can apply.

Age Relaxation

Cumulative age relaxation for candidates qualifying under more than one category is admissible. However, the maximum upper age after all relaxations cannot exceed 50 years.

NCRTC employees who have completed at least one year of service as on the notification date are eligible for age relaxation to the extent of their completed years of NCRTC service. The Full-Time qualification requirement is also relaxed for such eligible NCRTC employees.

NCRTC Recruitment 2026 Application Fee

The application fee is non-refundable. Candidates applying for more than one post must pay the applicable fee separately for every post. Online payment can be made through Credit Card, Debit Card or Net Banking.

NCRTC Recruitment 2026 Salary and Pay Scale

In addition to Basic Pay, appointees are eligible for Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Perks and Allowances under the Cafeteria Approach and other admissible benefits according to NCRTC rules.

Selected candidates may be posted at any NCRTC office, workplace or project unit, including subsidiaries or joint ventures, depending on organisational requirements.

NCRTC CBT Exam Pattern 2026

Minimum Qualifying Marks

Merely obtaining the minimum qualifying percentage does not guarantee shortlisting or final selection. Selection will depend on the number of vacancies, reservation ratio and relative merit/performance of candidates.

NCRTC Recruitment 2026 Medical Standards

Candidates shortlisted after CBT must clear the prescribed Railway-style medical fitness standard applicable to their post.

A-3 Medical Standard

Candidates must be physically fit in all respects. Distant vision should be 6/9 and 6/9 with or without glasses, and near vision should be Sn 0.6 and 0.6. Colour Vision, Binocular Vision, Field of Vision and Night Vision must be present. Power of glasses should not exceed +/-2D.

B-1 Medical Standard

Distant vision should be 6/9 and 6/12 with or without glasses, with near vision of Sn 0.6 and 0.6. Colour Vision, Binocular Vision and Night Vision must be present. Power of glasses should not exceed +/-4D.

C-1 Medical Standard

Distant vision should be 6/12 and 6/18 with or without glasses. Near vision should be Sn 0.6 and 0.6 where reading or close work is required.

NCRTC states that LASIK surgery or any form of radial keratotomy for vision correction is not permitted. The cost of the first medical examination is borne by NCRTC; where a second examination or re-examination becomes necessary because of delayed joining or similar circumstances, the candidate may have to bear the cost.

NCRTC Recruitment 2026 Surety Bond

Selected candidates have to execute a Surety Bond committing them to serve NCRTC for a minimum period of three years.

A one-month prior notice is required from either side before resignation or termination from the Corporation.

Notice 32/2026 vs Notice 33/2026 - Employment Terms

Under Vacancy Notice 33/2026, employment is purely contractual for five years from the date of appointment. NCRTC explicitly states that contract appointment does not confer any right to regularisation of services.

NCRTC Recruitment 2026 Preparation Focus

The CBT contains 100 questions in 90 minutes, giving candidates an average of only 54 seconds per question. Since the official notices specify no negative marking, candidates should aim to attempt every question while maintaining speed and accuracy.

However, merely clearing the 60% or 50% qualifying threshold does not assure selection because final shortlisting depends on relative merit. Candidates should therefore practise full-length timed tests rather than treating the minimum qualifying percentage as their target score.
