Bihar STET 2026 Normalization
Because the Computer Based Test may be conducted in multiple shifts, BSEB applies a normalization process to account for differences in the difficulty level of question papers across shifts.
The result is therefore determined using the applicable normalized score rather than relying only on the raw marks obtained in a particular shift.

This means a candidate who successfully qualifies STET does not ordinarily need to reappear merely because the earlier certificate has expired. However, teacher recruitment eligibility remains subject to the rules of the specific recruitment notification issued subsequently.
Bihar STET 2026 Syllabus
The paper is broadly divided into two components:
1. Concerned Subject - 100 Marks
This section evaluates knowledge of the candidate's selected Secondary or Higher Secondary subject. Candidates should prepare according to their chosen Paper-I or Paper-II subject code.
