Indian Army NCC Special Entry Scheme 125th Course (April 2027) Recruitment 2026

The Indian Army has invited online applications from eligible unmarried male and female candidates for the NCC Special Entry Scheme 125th Course (April 2027). This recruitment offers an excellent opportunity for NCC cadets to join the Indian Army as Short Service Commission (SSC) Officers without appearing for a written examination.

A total of 76 vacancies have been announced for NCC Men, NCC Women, and Wards of Battle Casualties. The online application process has commenced from 20 July 2026 for male candidates and 21 July 2026 for female candidates.

Educational Qualification

NCC Special Entry

Candidates must possess:

• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate marks.
• NCC 'C' Certificate.
• Minimum two years of service in Senior Division/Wing of NCC.
• Final-year students are also eligible subject to notification conditions.

Wards of Battle Casualties

Candidates should possess:

• Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks.
• NCC 'C' Certificate is not mandatory.

Age Limit

As on 01 January 2027

Date of Birth: 02 January 2002 to 01 January 2008.

Age relaxation shall be applicable as per Government of India and Indian Army rules.

Application Fee

No application fee is payable by any category of candidate.

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected through the following stages:

There is no written examination under the NCC Special Entry Scheme.

Salary

Selected candidates will be commissioned as Lieutenant under the Short Service Commission.
